Sabudana Pancake | Fritters | Chila

I love Sabudana Vada, but since it is deep fried, I do not prefer to make it too frequently . Instead of Vada I make this Sabudana PanCake or Sabudana Fritter’s – a non fried version of the vada’s, which can be enjoyed guilt free.

I can say the dish was a bit of my discovery. I love sabudana and to enjoy them but I needed a healthier option of making them . So one day I tried the pancake version.  It is a gluten free and a nutritious snack, and made just like flatbread’s. Soaked sabudana along with potatoes and roasted crushed peanuts(optional) is mixed together and divided into equal size balls. Then pat them directly on a pan or a griddle and shallow fry. We enjoy this with Singdana Raita (Peanut Yogurt dip) which is equally yum.
