This 5 ingredient Blueberry Banana smoothie is a refreshing breakfast or a mid morning snack or a post workout treat packed with antioxidants.

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium size Banana
  • 1 Cup Blueberries
  • 1/2 Cup or 1 Small Green Apple
  • 1 tsp Sunflower seeds Optional
  • 1 tsp Pumpkin Seeds Optional
  • Water as needed

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the banana and the green apple and add it into your blender.
  2. Add in the blueberries, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds.
  3. Blend everything to a thick paste.
  4. Add water if needed and as much desired.
  5. Delicious and healthy Blueberry Banana Smoothie is ready

Recipe Notes

Instead of water Orange/apple Juice or coconut water can be added.
One can add a sweetener of choice if you need it more sweet.
Seeds are optional and can be replaced with other varieties of seeds or nuts.
