Amla Dhaniya Chutney | Indian Gooseberry & Coriander Chutney

Amla Dhaniya Chutney is a simple, delicious, tangy, fresh chutney loaded with the goodness of Amla, the Indian GooseBerry.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 1 Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Deseeded and chopped Amla (Indian Gooseberry)
  • ¾ Cup Roughly Chopped Coriander
  • 2-3 Green Chilli (As per taste)
  • ½ Teaspoon of Asafoetida (Hing) (**for Gluten free, Please see notes)
  • ½ inch Ginger piece (Adrak)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • Black Salt to taste (Normal Salt can be used)
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar

Instructions

  • Wash, deseed and roughly chop the Amla into smaller pieces.
  • Add in all the remaining ingredients along with Alma in a blender or a mixer grinder.
  • Grind it into a fine smooth paste.
  • Store in Fridge for 8-10 days or in the freezer for months.

Notes

  • 1 Cup = 235 ml, 1 tbsp= 15 ml, 1 tsp = 5 ml
  • Asafoetida (Hing) powder available in shops contains wheat and is not gluten free. Gluten intolerant people can either skip completely or opt for Gluten Free Asafoetida (Hing)
