Chocolate Protein Oat Banana Waffles

Fuel your day with these nutrient-packed, gluten-free, and Vegan, Chocolate Protein Oat Banana Waffles for breakfast or as your meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Oats Flour
  • 1 Ripe Banana
  • 2 tablespoon Chocolate protein powder Can be replaced with vanilla protein powder or cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Milk Any vegan or non-vegan mill will work
  • ¼-½ Water as required
  • Vegan Butter / Oil Spraying the waffle Tray

Garnish

  • Melted Chocolate as required
  • Chocolate Chips as required

Instructions

Making of batter

  • In a large bowl mash the bananas.
    1 Ripe Banana
  • To this add oats flour, chocolate protein powder, and salt.
    1 Cup Oats Flour, 2 tablespoon Chocolate protein powder, 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • Give it a mix.
  • Slowly add milk and mix again.
    ½ cup Milk
  • To this add water slowly only as much required.
    ¼-½ Water
  • We need a dropping consistency batter.
  • Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

Making Waffles

  • Heat the waffle maker.
  • Once hot grease it with butter all over.
    Vegan Butter / Oil
  • Now add 2-3 tablespoons of batter to the waffle maker, depending on the size of your waffle maker.
  • Do not overfill.
  • Bake it for 10-15 minutes flipping in between. (see notes)
  • Serve hot with a drizzle of chocolate and some chocolate chips.

Notes

  • Standard US-size cups and spoons are used. 1 Cup = 236 ml, 1 tablespoon = 15 ml, 1 teaspoon = 5 ml
  • Baking time in a waffle maker may differ depending on your waffle machine. So please bake accordingly.
