Oats Energy Bites (No-cook, No-Bake, Processed Sugar-Free)

Made with just 5 ingredients, this Dates and Nuts energy bites are an instant source of energy, are Sugarless, Vegan and can be done in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Dates
  • 1 Cup Nuts of your choice (I used Almonds, Pecans & Walnuts, one can use a combination or only 1 nut of choice too.)
  • 1 Cup Oats
  • Zest of one Lemon (-optional - Can replace with Orange too)
  • 1 tbsp Coconut/Vegetable Oil -optional

Instructions

  • Remove the seeds from the Dates.

  • Add everything in a food processor or a high power blender. i.e. Oats, Dates & Nuts, lemon zest
    1 Cup Dates, 1 Cup Nuts of your choice, 1 Cup Oats, Zest of one Lemon
  • Grind it until it resembles a course mixture.

  • Try to bind the mixture with your hand. If unable to bind add oil.
    1 tbsp Coconut/Vegetable Oil
  • Take a tablespoon of mixture in your hand and form ball (Ladoo) shape.
    Shaping into balls
  • Store it in an air-tight container

Notes

  • Standard US Size cups used
  • Nuts of choice can be used. I have used a combination of almonds, Pecans & Walnuts. One can use only 1 nut of choice too.
