Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Idli Batter
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Palak/Spinach (one can puree too, I used chopped)
  • 2 tablespoon Crumbled Paneer
  • 1/2 teaspoon Jeera/Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Oil for Greasing Idli Mould

Instructions

  • Prepare the paneer mixture by adding paneer, Jeera, salt.
  • Finely chop the palak and add to Idli batter and mix.
  • Grease the Idli moulds with oil.
  • Fill each Idli mould to half.
  • Add about 1/4 tsp of paneer mixture in each of the mould in the center.
  • Top it up with more Idli batter.
  • Steam for 10 minutes.
  • Serve it as is or with chutney of your choice.

Notes

  • 1 Cup = 240 ml
  • 1 tablespoon = 15 ml
  • 1 teaspoon = 5 ml
