Wash and soak the Green Moong Dal for 15-30 minutes.
In a pressure cooker , add in the Ghee.
Once hot add in the asafoetida and Jeera. Once the Jeera crackles add the vegetables, ginger and turmeric. Give it a quick stir.
If using green chilies add it.
Add in the Daliya and Green Dal, salt to taste and 3 cups of water.
Let it cook for 3-4 whistles.
Once the pressure settles, Serve hot with yogurt, pickle or papad.
