Instant Green Apple pickle is a lip-smacking Instant pickle that has the tartness of the fresh juicy green apples and the spice from the masala.

Ingredients

  • 500 gm Green apples
  • 100 gm Ready Masala Mix
  • 130 gm Mustard Oil

Instructions

  • Thoroughly wash the green apples and wipe it dry with a clean kitchen towel.
  • Leave the apples on the clean towel for an hour. This helps to dry the apples completely.
  • When you are ready to make the pickle, in a clean and sterile pan or a pot heat the oil.
  • Let it come to smoking point and let it cool completely.
  • Now cut the apples into 1 cm pieces along with the skin. (You can peel if required).
  • You would need to be quick as the apples would start turning brown.
  • Add the ready masala to the apples and with a clean and sterile spoon mix everything.
  • Once the oil is cooled completely, add the oil to the apple masala mix.
  • Mix everything and set it aside in a clean and sterile container.
  • Cover it with a lid.
  • After an hour or so , give it a quick mix again.
  • You can enjoy this at this stage or let it rest for 1 day.
  • After a day fill this in a clean and sterile jar. Enjoy

Notes

  • Everything should be clean, Sterile and dry when making a pickle.
  • Always use a clean spoon when taking out pickle from jar.
  • Refrain from putting your fingers or your hand in a pickle jar. It spoils the pickle.
