Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sprouted Horse Gram
  • 1/4 Cup yellow peppers chopped lengthwise
  • 1 to mato cut into cubes
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1-2 fresh garlic grated
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped mint and coriander + extra for garnish.

Instructions

  • In a large pot or a pressure cooker cook the horse gram just until tender.
  • I just used one whistle for the pressure cooker.
  • Once done, drain the excess water. The water can be used as a stock for gravies.
  • Add in the tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, olive oil, grated garlic, lemon juice, chopped mint and coriander and salt.
  • Give everything a quick mix.
  • Garnish with coriander and lemon wedges and serve.

Notes

  • It is not necessary to cook the Sprouted horse gram. I do not like the raw taste and hence I cook it just until tender.
  • Any combination of veggies can be used here.
