Roasted Garlic Herb Mushrooms

Roasted Garlic and Herb Mushrooms is an easy, cheesy and delicious side dish done in under 30 minutes and bursting with flavours of garlic and herbs.

  • 250 gms button mushrooms
  • 4-5 cloves garlic grated or minced
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoon of grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar (I used balsamic Vinegar)
  • 1 tablespoon of mixed herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh Coriander or parsley to garnish


  • Preheat the oven to 180 Deg C
  • In a baking dish, add the mushrooms garlic, olive oil, herbs, salt and pepper.
  • Mix everything and arrange them so that they are in a single layer.
  • Bake at 180 Deg for 15 minutes.
  • Add the vinegar and again mix everything.
  • Add the grated cheese on top of it. Bake for 5 minutes.
  • Mix everything and bake again for 5 minutes.
  • Serve it as a side to your main course or as a topping on a toasted bread.


  • 1 teaspoon = 5 ml, 1 tablespoon=15 ml, 1 Cup=235 ml
  • One can add herbs of their choice.
  • Add red pepper flakes to give it a bit of kick
