Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  • Add carom seeds in a pot.
  • Add the water and let it boil.
  • Once boiled, let the water simmer for 5 mins.
    Making of Ajwain Tea
  • Cool and drink it in small portions.

Notes

  • 1 teaspoon = 5 ml, 1 tablespoon=15 ml, 1 Cup=235 ml
  • I do not strain the water, but keep it in a jar, so the seeds settle down and we use only the top water. But one can strain as well.
  • At times I even add 1 clove and 1-2 Tulsi leaves or a pinch of Tulsi powder.
  • Do not make a large batch, make in small quantities.
  • One can even have it lukewarm.
