Roll the dough using some dry flour to form a rectangle using 1/2 cm thickness.
In a small bowl add in the Softened Butter and cinnamon and mix it.
Spread this mixture using a pastry brush onto the rolled dough.
Spread the mixture of chopped apple and almonds leaving 1 cm from the edges.
Roll it into a tight log, sealing the edges.
Now cut into desired thickness. 1 inch is preferred.
Arrange this on a greased baking tray keeping enough space in between.
Cover it with cling wrap or a muslin cloth or a light plastic which and let it rest for 30 minutes on the counter.
Now let it rise overnight in the fridge.
Next morning, just when you are ready to bake remove it from the oven and let it sit until you preheat the oven.
Alternatively you can remove it maximum 30 minutes before baking.
Preheat the oven to 180 Deg C.
Bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
Remove and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.
