Indian Style Avocado Lassi or Avocado Yogurt Smoothie is a creamy and thick 4 ingredient lassi made using thick yogurt. It is a perfect breakfast smoothie or a meal in itself.

  • 1 ripe Avocado (around 130 grams)
  • 1 cup Thick Yogurt/Dahi
  • 4 tablespoon Demerara Sugar (one can use any sweetener of choice)
  • 2 tablespoon of Kewra Water
  • Chopped Pistachio (Used only for garnish - optional)
  • Few Kesar Strands (Used only for garnish - optional)


  • De seed and Peel the avocado.
  • Add the avocado in a blender.
  • Add the yogurt.
  • Add Sugar and Kewra Water
  • Blend into a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • Garnish it with chopped pistachio and saffron strands (Optional)


  • 1 teaspoon = 5 ml, 1 tablespoon=15 ml, 1 Cup=235 ml
  • One can replace Kewra water with Vanilla essence.
