Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Watermelon Red flesh cut into small pieces
  • 1 Cup Watermelon Rind (White part cut into Julienne)
  • 1 small Ripe Avocado (½ Cup - When Chopped)
  • 10-15 Raisins (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Pine Nuts (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoon Chaat Masala (or to taste - optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Cut the watermelon into large pieces, lengthwise
  • Remove the red flesh of the watermelon.
  • With a peeler or a knife, remove the outer green rind of the watermelon.
    Watermelon Rind, the white, green and the red part seperated
  • Chop the white rind finely, preferably into Juliennes.
    The cut Julienne of the watermelon rind (White part)
  • Add the chopped watermelon rind, watermelon red flesh, and chopped avocado in wide bowl
    Cut pieces of Avocado, Red Watermelon Flesh and White Watermelon Rind
  • Add Lemon Juice, Chaat Masala and Salt

  • Add Pine Nuts

  • Add Raisins
    Adding of Raisins in the salad
  • Mix all the ingredients and serve.

Notes

  • Pine Nuts can be replaced with Flax Seeds.
  • Pine Nuts and Raisins are optional.
  • Chaat Masala is optional, though it adds to taste.
