Mix Fruit Juice (Plum | Orange | Kiwi)

Sharing is caring!

Phew last few months have been crazy with a lot of things going on at home and kids and office and me also adding more to the work by trying to put blogs consistently, but I love to do this, so no complaints. Unfortunately I am not finding any time to restart my cakes. Hopefully soon.

I thought was really going to skip posting this one, but once I promise I need to fulfill it. So I am posting this recipe for our Blogging Marathon where we a group of bloggers decide a particular theme and blog on the same theme for 3 days in a week. This week I have chosen Kid’s Delight – Drinks an this is my third recipe for this theme. The earlier two were, Chocolate Oreo Milkshake and 2 Ingredients Strawberry Milkshake.

Juices at my home are less as I prefer to give fruits or is generally made just to indulge or enjoyed as a mid morning snack or if sometimes some fruit is not finishing. I was really thinking as what I can make as it has to be kid friendly and hence I did not wanted to add any unhealthy stuff like soda or more sugar. So, I had this 2 oranges and kiwi which were not getting finished, some times it happens that you do not feel like eating. So thought of mixing this all and making a simple juice, nothing fancy. And you all know how difficult it is at times to feed kiwi and plum to children I just added a tablespoon of sunflower seeds and Chia seeds for the crunch, health and texture of the juice. I do not filter my juices anytime as it removes the fibrous contents of the fruit and there is no point in drinking the juice, specially all the nutrients are lost, so just add the fruits puree it and yummy juice is ready. I have added some orange juice to the mix, instead of plain water, one can add water or coconut water if you have in hand. I added sugar to it as the last step as I add Sugar only if required, so added it as it tasted a bit tangy and children will not drink it. Add sugar only if needed.

The juice was creamy and fibrous and I was craving for more, do I need to say more, Straight to the recipe:

This is such a healthy glass of juice. Addition of chia and sunflower seeds to the juice is a nice idea....making the juice healthier and more filling
