So what is Ragi?

Ragi a gluten free flour, and is extensively used in Indian cooking. therae re many different recipes using Ragi. I have detailed more about what Ragi is in my earlier post about Instant Ragi Dosa. Though I have not experimented this flour or grain a lot but I have started to use it more and more over the past few years. There are various health benefits of this flour. One of quite interest to all is that it keeps you full for longer duration and hence a good weight loss food.

While searching for recipes of Ragi, I came across drinks made using Ragi. I was curious about the taste of Ragi drink. The colour and the texture of Ragi puts one off at times. But do not do that to this wonder gem, use it and you will love it.
