2 Ingredients Mango Yogurt Smoothie is a refreshing and sugar-free smoothie made using Mango and yogurt. This smoothie can be your easy and delicious breakfast, healthy snack on the go, or even your dessert.
This mango greek yogurt smoothie is so easy to make that you just need to peel the mango, add yogurt in a blender, blend and you are done. This refreshing and filling smoothie is better than a store-bought smoothie without any added preservatives.
The 1st main Ingredient – Mango
Mango the main ingredient of this smoothie is one of the healthiest food. It has loads of essential vitamins and nutrients. Known as the king of fruits, it is seasonal and mainly available during summers. Though now one can get preserved mango etc.
Recipes with Mangoes
I love mangoes. And Alphonso mango is my favorite or a favorite of any Mumbaikar. I love to make this summer special Aamras along with some piping hot puris. Another delicious recipe that I love to make is this Sweet Mango Chilli Sauce. A tantalizing dip that is best served along with chips, bread, or drizzle on your meat and fish. My recent favorite is this Easy Eggless Mango Cake.
The 2nd main Ingredient – Yogurt
Yogurt is the 2nd main ingredient. It is made using the bacterial fermentation of milk. Yogurt is one of the best sources of protein and is packed with nutrients. It is supposed to be good for your immune system and bone health.
I love yogurt and make it at home every time. Earlier it was a simple everyday activity as I was in India. But here in Ireland making yogurt was difficult due to the weather. So I started making this Instant Pot yogurt and now I no longer buy yogurt.
In today’s recipe, I strained the yogurt to remove excess whey and used it. One can use Greek yogurt if one wants a thick and creamy smoothie.
Sugar or no Sugar
I do not like to add sugar to my smoothies. It is best to source them from the fruit or the veggies themselves. However, if you like, you can add granulated sugar, honey, or stevia as per your choice.
Vegan substitutions
I have used cow yogurt here. However, vegans can use coconut yogurt or any vegan yogurt of choice.

A tummy filler and super delicious. In fact I made some today as it was quite hot and didn't want to cook any lunch. Love to make mango smoothies on such days.

Dear Renu I am happy to learn that you combine yoghurt and mango to churn into a smoothie. Although I personally refrain from using dairy products with fruits,I might as well try your recipe with a plant based yogurt instead. I shall let you know in due course. Your pictures are so vibrant and fresh,it demonstrates your patience and perfection. Good job! Haseena

Thank you Haseena. Yes earlier even I use to refrain from doing so, but now I do use it. If we are having it fresh and not keeping it for long ,there is no harm in consuming it. Thank You very much for your kind words. I would love to hear your feedback.
