I do not make smoothies or juices much as I prefer to use food and veggies without pureeing them. But at times you love to drink and enjoy them. And when I make them I try to make them using all the processed-free ingredients.

Sugar-Free Smoothie Recipes

A few such healthy and sugar-free smoothie recipes on my blog are Strawberry Mango Mint Smoothie which uses fresh mint from my garden. Another healthy one is this Blueberry Banana Smoothie or this Ragi Banana and Dates Smoothie. And if you are looking to add oats to this recipe, try this Sugarless Cacoa Oats Breakfast Smoothie.

Ingredients used in Avocado Banana Green Smoothie

Today I am using some fresh avocado, and banana for the sweetness, and fresh spinach from my garden. Love to use these greens from my garden and go straight to cooking or eating.

You might say that the smoothie has loads of fat due to avocado and banana, but they are healthy fats. Also, this is sugar-free, so the sweetness comes from how sweet your banana is. Avocado sometimes has sweetness too, and it adds to the smoothie taste. Spinach helps neutralize the sweetness and adds thickness and texture to the smoothie.

Flax Seeds and Sunflower seeds are used for that nutty texture. It adds nutrients and is a good way to add to your diet. One can skip it if required.

Diary or Dairy-Free smoothie

I have added yogurt to this, but it is not required. At times I skip it as the creamy texture is achieved by banana and avocado. Vegans can use soya or coconut yogurt.
