Oats vegetable chila blends oats, gram flour, and colorful veggies for a tasty, gluten-free, vegan meal. Great for breakfast or lunch boxes.

I like variety and want my family to eat everything, or include all the different types of grains and flour. Oats is one such grain. However, we do not like oats in porridge or sweet form, so I experiment with them in different recipes. You can read more about Oats here.

Oats Vegetable Chila
I have been making this Oats vegetable chila for a long time. I simply grind the oats coarsely in a blender. I add a little gluten-free besan or gram flour to add to taste and help it bind. Next, I add different vegetables I have on hand or the ones I want to sneak in, like capsicum, spinach, carrots, etc. That’s it, with a few more spices added, you can make a healthy and delicious meal.

This Vegan and gluten-free chila is liked by toddlers as it can be enjoyed as a finger food. Make them in the desired shape or into bite-sized pancakes. You are sorted with a filling meal for your little ones.
If you are looking to incorporate oats in your diet, I have a few recipes on my side. Did you try this Sugarless Cacao Oats Breakfast Smoothie yet, or this Savory 10-minute Vegetable Oats Upma? I also love my oats in my morning breakfast, like in this, Apple Granola Overnight Oats or in the form of my Granola. And yes, if you need to add oats to your kid’s diet, try these: Vegan Baked Oats and Vegetable Bites, or Beetroot and Oats Cookies

Vegan Substitutions
I have used yogurt in this, Vegans can use vegan yogurt or replace it with water.
Is this Gluten-Free
Yes, it is gluten-free. I have used oats and chickpea flour. But be sure to use certified gluten-free oats
