Fresh Mint Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream is one of the finest minty and chocolaty ice creams, made with fresh Chocolate Mint herbs. It is packed with flavors from both chocolate and fresh herbs. This quick, no-churn, and creamy ice cream can be made without an ice cream maker.
Chocolate and mint are made for each other. One cannot go wrong when you have these two together. And then with the addition of fresh chocolate mint herb, this Ice Cream speaks out chocolate and mint.
Yes, I love this new herb in my garden. I bought it last year and I am using it a lot. It goes so well in all of the chocolate recipes. A simple chocolate mint tea is so refreshing. A few times I struggle to make recipes with it, as I have propagated this mint and it is going crazy. But I am happy. I dry the leaves if I am not using them instantly. Dried mint leaves stay good for a year, and one can use them as required.
What is chocolate mint?
I have already said a little about chocolate mint in my earlier post on Fresh Chocolate Mint Bark. Chocolate mint was new to me last year, but now I know the herb well. I can smell and find it and yes it does have that chocolate smell and flavour.
Recipes with Chocolate Mint
This chocolate mint has a strong chocolate flavor or smell. It will not work in all the recipes, especially the one which involves some masala. It will work in chocolate recipes, cakes, cookies, brownies, hot chocolate, coffee, protein shakes, desserts, etc. Fresh tea will be very good and healing for your body.
I have used this in a couple of recipes here, like in this Fresh Mint Chocolate Lemon Bark or this Strawberry Mango Mint Smoothie.
I was paired with Kalyani from Sizzling TasteBuds in our Shhhhh Cooking Secretly Challenge group. She gave me Choco Mint and Fresh Cream and this Chocolate Mint Ice Cream was perfect to use those ingredients. I gave her Tabasco and Pav Bhaji masala and she made this Pav Bhaji Pizza.

Notes
- While whipping any cream be sure that everything is cold, i.e. beaters, bowl, cream. It really helps.
- If you are using store-bought fresh cream, keep them in the fridge for some time, it really helps.
