Are you growing loads of berries in your garden or just looking to save a lot of them? Check out how easy it is to freeze them by either purring them or making them into a Sugar-Free Berry Chia Jam. You can use it in your morning healthy breakfast or overnight oats.

Why Freezing Berries?
I have been having a good harvest of blackberries this year. Every day, I collect a bowl of blackberries. Now, I cannot eat them all, and at times, the quantity is so great that my family and I cannot finish them.

But how can I get my organic and pesticide-free berries to waste? I needed to find a way to preserve it. I do make this berry chia jam. However, this jam can stay good in the fridge for 15-20 days max as it does not have anything to preserve. So I thought of freezing the jam. And yes it did work out.

How to Freeze Berries
- Make this Instant Pot Sugar-Free jam and froze into ice cubes.
- Puree it and freeze it.
- Freeze whole berries

How to enjoy Frozen Berries
These frozen berries can be enjoyed as a topping for breakfast cereals, quinoa crispies, overnight oats, yogurt, and pancakes, or as a frozen treat.
Another way to use frozen berries is to add them in smoothies or shakes. Freezing fruits adds a nice texture and thickness to a recipe. Like how I use frozen bananas to make this Sugar-Free No-Churn Strawberry Banana Ice Cream. I simply enjoy it with yogurt.
If you have frozen whole berries it can be used in baked goods.

Shelf Life of Frozen Berries
Once frozen the jam, puree, as well as whole berries stay good for at least 6 months.
