After a month long break from BM, I am starting with this month with the theme of No Cook Dessert. So for the next 3 days you will be getting 3 different recipes which involve no cooking at all. To make the challenge more complicated or to make the dish healthier, I decided not to use sugar or at the max use them in alternate form. I was keen not to use any form of sugar at all. So gear up for some healthy dessert’s which can be assembled in minutes and can be enjoyed guilt free.
When I chose this theme, I thought it would be pretty easy task , but the real challenge was there should be no cooking at all !!! Even though the challenge mentioned one can use microwave for 1 min , or boiling of milk was allowed, but I was keen on not using either options. I had earlier shortlisted few recipes for cheese cake, but I wanted to avoid sugar in the dish as much possible. With all these conditions I set out to make a dish my family could enjoy .
So my mind shifted to making Ice cream – perfect dish for the hot summer currently here . Also there were Banana’s about to ripe in my kitchen and I had to make something soon or least freeze them. And hence I decided to make Sugarless, No Churn, 4 ingredient Strawberry Banana Ice Cream . It’s a easy and quick recipe with yum taste am sure everyone will like . Just to note I added some Homemade Strawberry Puree to enhance the flavour of Ice cream and to add richness I used fresh cream instead of milk. I have not added any form of sugar in this Ice cream and the sweetness comes from the over ripe bananas. And don’t worry. Even If the strawberries are a bit sour , the sweetness will not be lessened by much. You can add sugar or honey if you like it more sweet.

Sugarless No Churn Strawberry Banana Ice Cream
- 2 Medium Size Banana's
- 1 Cup Fresh Cream (Can be replaced with milk)
- 1.5 Cup Strawberry Puree/Fresh Strawberries
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- Peel and cut the banana into bite size pieces. Freeze them for 1-2 hours, until rock solid.
- Add the Frozen Banana, Strawberry Puree (or Strawberries), Fresh Cream and Vanilla essence in a powerful blender or a food processor and blend everything until it forms a smooth mixture.
- Freeze it in an air tight container for 6-8 hours or overnight.
- That's it, Enjoy this Sugarless Strawberry Banana Ice-Cream
